Man of the match Rohit Sharma for his brilliant knock (123 not out)
In ICC Champion Trophy's second semi-final India Bangladesh by 9 wickets at Edgbaston.
India won the toss and invited bangladesh to bat first.Bangladesh lost 2 wickets for 31 as Bhuvneshwar Kumar struck twice for India.But Bangladesh played positive and attacking cricket and Tamim Iqbal and Musfiqur Rahim shifted gears against India by scoring 123 runs together.Tamim Iqbal(70) tried to take Kedar Jadhav over mid-wicket but was bowled.
Musfiqur Rahim played a good innings by scoring 61 runs.Bangladesh finished on 264/7 in their 50 overs and set a target of 265 for India to win.Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhavan started well for India.They made 87 runs partnership for India before Dhavan out for 46 in just 34 balls.Later on Rohit Sharma (123 unbeaten) and Indian captain Virat Kohli (96 unbeaten) led India to victory in 40.1 overs.Virat Kohali became the fastest batsman to reach 8000 runs mark in 175th ODI.Yuvraj Singh was playing his 300th ODI.
